Carrying on from recording our last show, we make an abortive attempt at preliminary patter before putting a call through to Uncle Bob. Uncle Bob helps with a community service announcement before sharing an inspiring tale of Arctic survival.

Haven’t listened yet, but I’d like to thank Uncle Bob for introducing me to a very important web catalog. I’ll take one of everything, please.

I was nearly crying with laughter at the Uncle Bob segment. You guys should sell WWUBD yellow arm bands. (Or did you not have the WWJD fad there?) They could benefit a charity that donates prophylactics to European brothels.

You actually can get pretty good levels of essential vitamins from eating seals and fish. Otherwise the eskimoes would all have died of scurvy. The trick is to eat the internal organs and marrow (unless you’re a vegetarian).

On a completely unrelated note, I came across this link in a Google Ad:

Is that true? Is Australia really paying people $7000 to move to Melbourne? Do the people in Sierra Leone know about this?
