In this week’s show:
* Australia at the World Cup.
* Is the washing machine the most useful appliance ever invented?
* If God has wanted women to have an Orang-Utang there, he would have put it there himself.
And a new Cooking with Jana.
Plus we have a couple of house photos.

Egad, another episode already! And I still haven’t left a voicemail about the last two.

Oh man, I haven’t listened to the show yet but I can tell by the title it’s gonna be good. Ok, time to download. Hey tvindy you’re falling behind in your duties.

Neat! I’m going to have an elephant tattooed in the same sort of design. It will be well worth it just to see everyone’s faces when I enter it in the company party talent show next Christmas. And I don’t care if everyone else does immediately jump on the same bandwagon.

Hey Guys!
Two things:
1.) Nice house. I like that it’s multi-story on a hillside with a deck.
2.) Looking at the novelty vagina photo, I can’t help but wonder if it’s photoshopped rather than a tattoo. Perhaps you’ve been misled by Curtis.

If the monkey wasn’t a photoshop, this one with Homer Simpson sure is!

Also, the new house is beautiful.

Speaking of fun things to put up one’s butt, this has always been a favorite of mine:

Tonight, I went for a few drinks after work to get up Dutch courage, then I had part of the elephant’s right ear, its trunk and the little mahout rider tattooed on. Although the ink is a loathsome bluey-green, it does capture the essence of elephant and the trunk is magnificent, so the pain was worth it. I booked in to have the rest of the design completed next week.
Then I came home and saw the other comments. The monkey cunt (if I may be so presumptuous as to christen it thus) better not be PhotoShopped! If I abandon my elephant tattoo now, it will look pretty silly. But then, on the other hand, I certainly don’t want to find that I’m the only elephant in town.
Decisions, decisions. Perhaps if I stop now I can get away at the Christmas party with saying it’s a (very) unusual birth mark. Do you have a problem page that can advise me?
P.S. I am also suffering from hillside house envy.

Re: Tvindy’s link, I like how the description of someone giving themselves a concrete enema begins: ‘During the last 20 years, sexual habits have changed in western society’. I guess that’s more true for some people than others …

Oh, and Barking1010, the addition of a ‘little mahout rider’ to your tattoo description was priceless.

Barking101,
You won’t be the only one with an elephant motif:

Nope.

The monkey crotch looks pshopped to me. I’ve seen it about the net for a couple years. Funny though! I would like to feed it bananas.
Sweet house! All that glass is wild. When can I come over to see it??
P.S. Don’t throw stones.

Wow! I think the house looks fantastic. The monkey tattoo, however, does not. This reminds me, I have to send in my Photoshop, er, photo of George Bush I took.
Just got back from a trip. Time to download!

Thank you Vibeen, for that elephant image.
A picture that would be better than a thousand eloquent words for the “No” side if displayed during a public debate on the benefits or otherwise of circumcision.
It could well be the deciding factor for any new parents, prompting them to think twice about what their son will want to get up to as an adult, before they have him done.

The house looks great…That would cost you about $ 400, 000 canadian right now if that were here. Have fun with it. The shows are great and you should be happy about having regulars listening and comments flowing freely…not easy to get. Dont worry too much about getting high rank ratings in Podcast Alley..with the amount of shows listed and the fact that its easy to stack stats, it seems an uphill battle most months. There are many great directories out there that seem to keep track of shows a wee bit better. Anyways ..just my opinion. Cheers and I look forward to the next episode. Have fun setting up shop…DR JOHN

I don’t think the phrase “We’ve always wanted chickens” would occur in the US. But the building of a chicken coop sounds interesting and I’d like to see how it turns out.
Jana was talking about Frontier House, another favorite series of mine. One I’d reccomend to get ahold of is Manor House, where one family lives the life of an aristocrat while another cast of people is toiling away downstairs, cooking and cleaning everything. The class warfare is inevitable.
And George Orwell’s Down & Out In Paris and London says the same thing about cooking in a restaurant. The timing is everything and is the reason why cooking in a restaurant can be so difficult. Being a reality show fan, I suppose Jana has seen Hell’s Kitchen. I like watching the cooks on that show in a near-constant state of panic.
I’ll probably try the banana pikelets recipe in the next few days once the bananas get over-ripe. I’m a sucker for new pancake recipes. And thanks for clearing up the myth of milk in scrambled eggs. I was taught that way and always wondered if everyone did it that way.

Also, I think in the U.S. soccer has a reputation as a children’s sport. It’s hard to find someone who *wasn’t* in a soccer league as a kid. It’s more like a way to get kids to run their energy off, but as a sport to watch, we totally despise it.

I have also always wanted chickens! I live in a city (Seattle) and as it turns out we are allowed to have up to 3 chickens! Now if I can just convince the wife…

In response to Ryan, thanks to the magic of TiVo and not sleeping much, I have watched every game (so far - 48 games or so) of the world cup. I realize that I may be the sole american on a quest to watch them all…

Hey, the link to the orangutan tattoo doesn’t work! I needed to look at it today.

Sorry, Tvindy - when I was pushed for time while shifting servers a while ago I didn’t bring the old listener images to the new site because I thought anyone who wanted to look at them already had. I can only speculate concerning why you want to look at that particular image again, but if you have a pressing need you can find it on Google image search - it’s done the rounds.
