In a bumper superhero-themed show, we discuss all manner of superhero-related business and read listener submitted thoughts on the subject. Including:
* More Attractions from Paramounts Kings Island.
* Prince Adam of Eternia as a disco diva. Who would have thought a muscley guy with a blond pageboy haircut wearing boots, leather minishorts and a leather harness would turn out to be gay? And with a name like He-Man, too.
* A radio theatre re-enactment of the Wondertwins arrival on Earth.
* Plenty of ill-conceived Wondertwins transformations.

Excellent. I was hoping the new show would drop this weekend.
Ahhh memories… We used to come up with inappropriate Wondertwins transformations while in college. Usually they were of a sexual nature that would distract the villains or simply make no sense. Form of an ebola virus! Shape of an ice dildo!
There’s a new TV show in the vein of Smallville coming out centered on Aquaman here this year.
CBS here in the states did have a Flash series for a couple years in the early 90’s. I enjoyed it.
Shazam featured this kid, Billy Batson, I think, who maybe had a ring that enabled him to shout SHAZAM! and turn into Captain Marvel. In the comic books, there was some connection to Zeus and the old Greek gods in there somewhere. In the Saturday morning series in the 70’s, it was strangely okay for Billy Batson to travel about the west in an RV/Camper with an old dude. Isis was on after it I think.
Yeah, Marvin and Wendy were pretty annoying and useless. I wanted them to die. Zan and Jana were an improvement but I wanted Gleek to get into some horrible accident. I hated animal and kid sidekicks to superheroes.
(My list of lame heroes) I made Jana giggle! Excellent. My work is done here. Yeah, I’ve strangely yet to see Mystery Men all the way through… I remember William H. Macy being able to shovel well.
Thanks for a Super show.

This was easily your best episode to date. I hope radio theatre adaptations of old comics become a regular feature.

Speaking of live action heros….remember the Spiderman live action show with the trippy 70’s wakka music in it?
Bravo on a great show……and check out Moon Knight….he is cool….so says I.

Loved the radio play. Great American accents! Also, I think we need more Jana singing along to 4 Non Blondes disco.
I remember the Flash tv show, too. It was the first time I ever heard of the Flash and I was too young so it made absolutely no sense to me.

Hey guys!
I can’t believe that I didn’t think of this before, but here’s my vote for worst superpower:
Meg Griffin of Family Guy had the ability to grow her fingernails really, really quickly.

Man, when we were kids it seemed like all sorts of cool things would happen to you if you could only get a hold of some nuclear waste. I’m still waiting for that truck to spill in front my house so I can turn invisible or stretch my body or shoot lasers from my eyes.
Uh oh… Kevbo-sense is tingling! Gotta go!

This was a great episode. The best yet. You guys have terrific chemistry and Jana has a lovely voice. You too, undeserving husband guy. Lovely voice.

Hiya!
I have been listening, slowly, since your Dawn and Drew thingy. I am very sad because I am now all caught up and have to wait a week like the rest of the teeming masses. More Zan! More Jayna! Please!
If you two are half as adorable as you seem on the show it must be almost unbearable to be around you.

I can’t remember all the superheros that were on the show but did anyone say Radioactive Man and Fallout Boy from the Simpson’s? It just popper into my head. Can’t wait for the next show!!! And does anyone else think of Chef from Southpark when they hear the intro to the smut report? If you can find it look for the song Chef sings called chocolate salty balls. Too funny.
Zan and Jana…Best Aussies ever!

As your biggest fan…..I wanted to be your first friend on myspace. I’d frown….but I’m highly against the little emoticons.
By the Way…..in my opinion….you have the best podcast there is. #1 on my list…..and on Phibes Jr.s’.
