In this week’s show:
* Australia lays down the law on the ‘Where the Bloody Hell Are You?’ TV ads.
* Runaway Commonwealth Games competitors.
* An iPod sex toy.
* And more helpful advice based on the real-life experiences of Uncle Bob in What Would Uncle Bob Do?

Hello Jana and Zan,
Where is the awesome embedded flash player? I’m looking forward to listening to this episode!
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy,
Unfortunately, due to some problems with the new host for the show’s audio files (who shall remain nameless unless the problems happen again), I’ve had to use a workaround to post the show at all, which prevents the flash player from working. It will hopefully be there in a few days. In the meantime, you could either download the file directly from the post and play it with your media player of choice, or cheat and go HERE and paste the RSS address http://feeds.feedburner.com/bobsyeruncle/bob into the ‘input podcast feed’ field. I’m thinking about buying pupuplayer (God knows PK is always nagging everyone to) but am waiting for their next version which will have a direct download feature like the player we’re using now.
Cheers,
Zan.

When I left that voice message, I actually paused your podcast as soon as you revealed the number, grabbed my cellphone and placed the call. Despite appearances, that call was completely unscripted and unrehearsed.

The flash player is available for this week’s show, now. Sorry for the holdup.
tvindy, that’s uncanny. I’d appreciate any public speaking tips you could give me to use when I’m recording the show.
Cheers everyone,
Zan.

Just so it’s in writing for the listeners, the Google searching tip is to put ‘define: ‘ at the start of a query, such as ‘define: bludger’
This will bring up a list of any definitions Google can find on a subject. Quickest way I know of looking something up.

I love Uncle Bob! He’s old, crotchety, world-wise, perverted, and a whole lot ‘o fun.
Btw, I’m the one who left the anonymous customer review (the only one!) on iTunes. I love ya’all (no, I’m not originally from the southern US) and quote you to friends (admittedly w/o attribution).
I had never heard of PK & J before your show. I’ve begun listening to them, but love your show way more.
Is Cherie (sp?) Hausler a tv host there?

Hi Suzanne,
We’d never heard of Cherie Hausler, but I googled her and, yes, she is an Australian TV host. How do you know her?
